Al Waha TMC personnel were awarded by Gas Operations, Qatar Petroleum (QP) for their timely assistance in preventing a fire from spreading within the trash dumping area in Messaieed Industrial Area.

They responded with immediate actions in the late hours of the night against the fire, when authorities were unable to control the situation in time. They have proven that time and distance does not matter in an emergency situation. For their efforts, they received gratitude from Qatar Petroleum management.
